Welcome Statement - The role of God's Garage Student Ministries at Asbury UMC is to disciple Arnold's youth to impact the world for Jesus. We celebrate God’s gift of diversity and value the wholeness made possible in community equally shared and shepherded by all. We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, who are also of every age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, level of education, and family structure, and of every economic, immigration, marital, and social status, and so much more. We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities. As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed. We joyfully offer our hospitality and invite you to participate fully in the life of our youth community. You are welcome here.

Sunday Morning Small Groups
Sundays from 9:30-10:30 AM. The small groups are an extension of our Sunday evening programs, allowing the youth to dig deeper into their faith. The middle and high school groups meet together for the lesson and break out separately for age appropriate conversations. Group will study Banned Questions About the Bible, a book by Christian Piatt to deepen the youth's understanding of what we believe about God and the Bible. Groups led by Scott Karsner and Richie Neale.

FAQ
If my family attends another church or does not regularly attend any church, can my student still attend the youth group?
Yes! All 6-12 grade youth are welcome at God's Garage Student Ministries. We encourage students to worship with their family and to attend youth group at their church if it is available. But, many churches are not able to support a robust Youth Ministry Program. Our youth group includes people who attend Asbury as well as other area churches, and those who do not attend any church.
Is there a fee for my child to participate in the Youth Ministry Program
No! There is no cost to attend the youth program; Asbury United Methodist Church funds the Youth Ministry Program. However, students do pay a cost for activities outside the regular program, such as retreats and mission trips. For all activities, scholarships are available to students in need. The church welcomes donations for the program and its activities. You can donate by clicking this LINK and selecting "Youth Ministry Fund (God's Garage)." Your support is greatly appreciated so we can continue our work to Disciple Arnold's Youth to Impact the World for Jesus!
