Tuesday Evening Bible Study is a group that meets weekly to study a variety of scriptural programs. This is currently a hybrid class (in-person and Zoom) that meets from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Hathorne Room from September - May.

The Tuesday Evening Bible Study Group will resume on September 10, 2024. We will begin with the Exodus Story, a class offered through Hillsdale College. The Exodus is central to the Old Testament and the Gospels. It tells the story of God reclaiming His people. This literary study of the Book of Exodus examines man’s relationship to God, God’s mercy toward man, and the nature of human freedom. We will be introducing a different format for this study. Each session will begin as usual but the information session portion will be delivered as a 25-30 minute video lesson, to be followed by a discussion centered around responses to questions related to the video session.

This is an eight-week study, no course book is required, you will simply need to read the sections of Exodus associated with the next weeks session. The course is again being offered either in person or Zoom. Course sessions will be from 7pm-8:30 pm. I

Newcomers are always welcome. For more information, please contact Kurt Kuhn.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study, led by Ann Brady with help from class members, is a hybrid class that meets from 10:00 to 11:30 AM in the church library and via Zoom.  The group meets from September - May.

Bible Stories for Grown-Ups: Reading Scripture with New Eyes Starts Sept 4, 2024

In Bible Stories for Grown-Ups: Reading Scripture with New Eyes pastor Josh Scott looks at familiar Bible stories and reveals new details and interpretations for an adult audience. This six-week Bible study will consider stories many read as children including Noah's Ark, the binding of Isaac, Jonah and the big fish, Jesus and Zacchaeus, Jesus healing a blind man, and the parable of the talents. Scott reimagines these stories and opens new visions for readers to understand well known pieces of Scripture in our current cultural environment.

Newcomers are always welcome. For more information please contact Ann Brady.
