Make a Meal for the God's Garage Youth

Follow this LINK if you would like to volunteer to make a dinner for the youth group on May 1. We are re-introducing this important fellowship component of God's Garage, breaking bread together. Please provide dinner for 20 and drop off the meal to the Kitchen by 5:50 PM; Per COVID-19 protocols, dishes will be plated by gloved God's Garage Adult Leaders in the kitchen and served to socially distanced youth in the Fellowship Hall.


A liturgist is needed for 4th Sunday of the month, 11 am service.  This is a one-time per month commitment. Please reach out to Anne Haas at or call on (703) 975-6572 for more information on this position and substitute liturgist opportunities!

Mowing & Trimming Asbury Grounds

Do you have 2-3 hours on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday to help us maintain our church and cemetery grounds? There are three slots each week (Mowing the Cemetery, Trimming the Cemetery, and Mowing and Trimming the Front of the Church and the Field Behind Fellowship Hall) and each slot takes 2-3 hours to complete.

Chores & More Needs Volunteers!

Chores & More, a volunteer group available to help Broadneck residents who have no transportation, are homebound, or are temporarily unable to drive, is seeking volunteers for rides to the grocery store, medical appointments, food shopping, etc. Interested? Service Opportunity Arundel House of Hope

The Arundel House of Hope is a non-profit ecumenical organization that provides emergency, transitional, and permanent affordable housing for the poor and those experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County.

The Alternate Shelter in Annapolis will continue to run through the end of June 2022. They are asking for 35 bagged lunches (e.g. sandwich, chips, snacks, fruit etc...bottled water) each day to feed the guests. Feel free to be as creative as you want with the lunches. Lunches can be dropped at the door of the Red Roof Inn before 11am at 2520C Riva Road in Annapolis. Here is the link to the May signup in case you would like to provide a lunch.
