Current Study - Three Simple Rules for Christian Living- September 11 - October 23

This small-group study by Jeanne Torrence Finley is based on Rueben P. Job's book Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living. In Three Simple Rules, Rueben Job offers an interpretation of John Wesley's General Rules for today's readers. This insightful work calls us to mutual respect, unity and a deeper daily relationship with God. Six sessions provide extended reflection for adults on three principles of Christian life: do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God. Each rule has a session to help you understand the rule and a session to help you explore ways to practice the rule.

To sign up and reserve a book, please contact Ann Brady

Asbury’s Book Discussion Group has chosen 6 selections for 2020.  The meeting dates and selections are described HERE.

The group is open to newcomers and meets in the Fisherman classroom in the Sanctuary building at 7:30 pm on the dates indicated.  In December, they have a dinner meeting at a member’s house and they select the books for the next year at that meeting.
